Mum's birthday was coming.
Everyone gave Mum a present.
Mum got lots of plants for her birthday.
The house was quite like a jungle.
Then, the children went to Biff's room.
The magic began to glow.
It took the children to a jungle.
First, they meet an angry monkey.
Then, they saw a big snake.
Next, they found alligators were asleep on the bank.
At last, they got trap in a net.
The explorers let them down.
The explorers were looking for a place called lost city.
The children wanted to help them find the Lost City.
Could they find it?
What will happen next?

They came to a waterfall.
waterfall 瀑布
The explorer could not stop the boat.
（探险家不能让船停下）
他们来到瀑布旁，可船停不下来了。
Why couldn't they stop the boat?
Because, ...
The paddle had broken.
船桨坏了。
'Look out! "he called.
'We 're going to get wet.'
他大喊，那个探险家大喊：
当心！我们要淋湿了。
The boat went through the waterfall.
船 穿过 了瀑布。
'Oh help,' said Anneena, 'I don't like getting wet.'
Anneena 说：哦，救命，我不喜欢淋湿。
'Think of the alligators, ' said Chip.
'It's better than getting eaten!'
Chip 说：想想鳄鱼吧，这总比被吃掉好！

They were in the waterfall.

They went through the waterfall.
They all got wet.

Behind the waterfall there were some steps.
The steps went up and up for a long way.
瀑布后面有一些台阶。
台阶往上爬了很长一段路。
So they went and went.
Nobody could see how far they went.

Wow,
The waterfall had a big secret.
What would they find at the end of the steps?
'This may be the way to the Lost City,' said the lady. 'Come on.'
那位女士说：这可能就是去那座迷失的城市的路，来吧。
So the children followed her.
As they climbed the steps, some bats flew past them.
当他们爬上台阶时，一些蝙蝠从他们身边飞过。
'If this is the way to the city, I can see how it got lost,' said Anneena.
It's such a long way up.'
Anneena 说：如果这就是通往那座城市的路，那我知道它是怎样迷失的了。

But finally，they came out.
The explorers were excited.
'It's the Lost City!' shouted the explorers.
'We have found it at last.'

The man threw his hat in the air and his wife jumped up and down.
那人把帽子抛向空中，他的妻子跳上跳下。
'I knew we'd find it today, 'said Kipper.
Kipper 很淡定地说：我知道我们今天会找到的。
Nobody had been in the city for years.
There were plants and trees everywhere.
这个城市多年没人来过了。
所以，到处都是植物和树木。
What a place!
It's really beautiful.
Biff pulled a plant out of a wall.
'This is like the one I gave Mum,'she said.
Biff 从墙上拔下一棵植物。
她说：这棵植物，和我给妈妈的一样呢。
In the picture,
We can see some buildings.
Who built the city?
Where had they gone?
It must be a mystery.
The explorers and the children wanted to explore.
They wondered what's inside the buildings?

They went to a big building and they opened the doors.
'Oh look!' they all gasped.
他们走进一座大的建筑物，打开了门。
他们倒吸一口气：哇哦，看呢！
What did they find?
Everything inside the building was made of gold.
The floor was gold and the walls were gold.
There were some gold steps that went up to a gold throne.
建筑物里的一切都是金子做的。
地板是金子的，墙壁是金子的。
有几级金的台阶，可以走到金宝座那里。
'What a wonderful place! 'said Anneena.
"There's gold everywhere."
Anneena 说：这是一个多么美妙的地方！
到处都是黄金。
The explorers were so happy.
For years and years, finally, we found it.
The children were happy, too.
We were so lucky to find the lost city.
The city was amazing.

Kipper sat on the gold throne.
A monkey jumped down behind him.
Kipper 坐在金宝座上。
一只猴子从他身后跳了下来。
'Look at me! 'he said.
'Look at that monkey behind Kipper,said Biff.
'Which one is the monkey? 'asked Chip.
Kipper 说：看着我！
Biff 说：看看 Kipper 身后的那只猴子。
Chip 问道：哪一个是猴子？
Haha, Chip just made fun of Kipper!
Kipper closed his eyes.
What was Kipper thinking?
He was dreaming to be the king of the lost city.
That's not bad.
Suddenly，the key began to glow.
'It's time to go home,' said Chip.
'Goodbye, ' said the explorers.
'Thank you for helping us find the Lost City.
突然，钥匙开始发光。
Chip 说：该回家了。
探险家们说：再见，谢谢你帮助我们找到了迷失的城市。
'I wish we had a magic key, ' said the man.
那个男人说：真希望我们也有一把魔法钥匙。
They wanted to go home too.

The magic took the children home.
Biff still had the plant she found in the Lost City.
魔法把孩子们带回家。
Biff 的手上还拿着她在迷失的城市里找到的那棵植物。
'I'll put it in Mum's jungle,' she said.

然后 Biff 指着 Kipper 说：
'I know where we can get a monkey too.'

Wherever they saw the plants they would remember the adventure.
And Whenever they saw Kipper they would remember the monkey.
Poor Kipper!
They all laughed.
