Anyone in close contact with a confirmed or asymptomatic case should have a strict "14+7+7" health management service – a 14-day isolated medical observation at designated sites such as hotel rooms, followed by a 7-day home monitoring of health conditions, with an ensuing 7-day general monitoring of health conditions.

People with intention to enter or leave the above areas should be persuaded to abandon the journey. Twenty-four-hour patrols will be conducted on the rural roads of the above areas to ensure that vehicles and personnel will not leave the villages, counties, and cities. In the cities of Shijiazhuang and Xingtai, pavement patrols by traffic police will promptly discover and deal with vehicles and personnel traveling in violation of relevant rules.
